Soul Keeper Series by L.A. Starkey- Books 1-3 Reviewed

Book 1-  Deceived by L.A. Starkey

This book was good from start to finish! I had a hard time putting it down, wanting to know what was going to happen next. The story is very imaginative and well written. I am excited to get the next book in the series to see what happens. I highly recommend this book not only as a YA, but really for anyone because it has imagination, action, mystery, romance, thrills and it was just magical!

Book 2- Destroyed by L.A. Starkey

I definitely enjoyed the 2nd book as much as the first. It was great to see Sam discover more about herself, her past and where she came from. There is a ton of manipulation done by the Gods in this one…I was getting so mad, but that is a testament to the great writing. I look forward to reading the next book in the series, this one left off at a spot that is maddening (in a good way). The characters are fun and full of mischief. I recommend this book to anyone that enjoys going to a completely different world, along with some really exciting adventure! Great follow up to the first book in the series.

Book 3- Descent by L.A. Starkey

I really enjoyed this series and the last book was very good. I was hoping for a little more with Sam and her powers, then joined with Elos’s powers…what could they do together? I would have liked more with Hades and Persephone too, although it really wasn’t their story I enjoyed them. I feel a bit confused about Nick too. I need to re-read that maybe. This really is a great read and the series deserves lots of praise. Starkey did a marvelous job writing and I’d like to read her works in the future. I recommend this series, and I already have to many friends!
